The Good News

About

The Good News is a small, independent front page built around a simple idea: that a few minutes of reading should leave you feeling a little lighter than before.

What this is

Most of the internet is loud. The Good News is the opposite — a quiet, cozy, ever-refreshing page of warm, wholesome, and gently funny reading. Short stories, tiny recipes, a fact about the night sky, an overheard kindness, a new word to keep. You can scroll as long as you like and it keeps unfolding, no two visits quite the same.

How it’s made

The Good News is created by an independent publisher with the help of artificial intelligence. The AI drafts words and pictures within a carefully designed set of themes and a consistent editorial voice; a human sets the direction, tends the tone, and keeps the whole thing feeling handmade rather than mass-produced. We think of the technology as the printing press, not the editor.

Everything here is meant as light, general-interest reading for a broad audience. It is not intended as news reporting, and it is not a substitute for professional advice.

Why it exists

It started as an experiment in whether an infinite page could stay calm — whether generative tools could be pointed at warmth instead of outrage. The goal is a place you can open when you want the world to feel a bit kinder, and close feeling better for it.
